Secret Lunch Shu Fanart

Today's painting is a fanart from Secret Lunch's Shu - I really admire what these guys are doing with indie development while in the prototype fund.

You can check'em out on their site, facebook and on steam

I need to study some cloth / drapery / folds to get a better feel for fabric. I noticed on JakeB's sketchbook some full figure clothing studies from fashion etc. looked really useful too.

Zomble Bee

zomblebee_concept_colour

I’ve begun work on an indie game called Zomble Bee, with the guys at +AsDesignedGames – a small group based in Dundee -  here’s a selection of character concept artwork for potential Zombees.

Some of these I played around with each stylistically to see where they led. Trying to keep them brief to convey the idea quickly.

You can see the development from the initial sketches (done while sitting in a pub :D) found here:

MONK

 monk_render

I’ve been working on a low poly model titled ‘Monk’ over the weekend (Thurs-Saturday). The intent is to use him for a 3rd person action/adventure demo to test in-game animation sets, potentially in UDK or otherwise.

The character is rigged by my friend Mike Cummings – for more details visit his blog. Thank you!

Thanks for browsing. More to come.
